Once again, many thanks to you all that participated. It was VERY hard to decide a winner. I will be sending this flyer to the guys who are planning on either printing the flyer up themselves for distribution at shows, or are going to send it to Sony with hopes that they will print postcards of the winning entry to be used for promotion. For now, please download the flyers, make copies, and distribute to all of your friends/recordstores/etc. Spread the love and help 'MFZB' get the recognition it deserves!

Date: April 2000 Contest Summary: If you went to a bar and ordered a Zebrahead . . . what would it be??

Prize(s): A live Zebrahead CD, rare yellow demo tape, a zebrahead button, 4 zebrahead stickers, and a zebrahead guitar pick!

Winner: Heather Notes: If I walked into a bar (looking damn good of course), I would head straight for the counter and ask for a "zebrahead." The bartender would slide me a glass with... 2 measures vodka 1 measure Kalua black coffee Topped with cream Fill a rocks glass with ice, then add ingredients and stir with an added touch of black coffee to darken up and strengthen the taste (only if desired). Add whipped cream to the top. (May be served hot but over ice is definetely recommended from me. (similar to a black russian, but now quite). *This is a zebrahead because.... * TWO measures of vodka - I've seen zebrahead live TWO times - I have TWO shirts signed by them - I have TWO copies of their single on vinyl - I have TWO video tapes of them live - I flashed TWO breasts for them at both concerts - I got TWO of my friends to do the same - Over TWO years ago is when I discovered them - TWO times infinity is how much I love zebrahead. They kick all, and there's no other band that I would choose over them. * One measure Kahlua (or Tia Maria) - Kahlua is yummy! This is also the darkening factor in my drink. You'll see why I need it dark, soon. Kahlua is about the only thing that was left at the party, once we got to it, when we went after warped tour. (Maria also happens to be a friend of ours who got up on the Real Riders stage at warped and well...had some fun. * Black coffee - some people bounce of the walls and are so hyped up over a little bit of caffine right? That's about what happens to me when I hear zebrahead.....not only when I hear them live, but anytime, on my cds, on the radio (not very often) but especially when I go somewhere and a store is playing it. I freak out, and my respect level for the place goes up! Quite often I have to pull all-nighters for bullshit reports. One of the times I was so tired, there was no way I was staying up. So I figured, "what the hell, make a pot of coffee" I drank 7 freakin cups and it did jack shit for me, I guess it doesn't affect me like it affects other people. So i cranked up zebrahead..... I was screaming along with it, and it was the only thing that kept me up. (I did get 45 min of sleep that night, yeah for me). Loud zebrahead is the only thing that keeps me from veering off the road at 2:00 am in the summer, driving home from a 15 hour day at work. ZEBRAHEAD IS MY COFFEE! (also helps to darken up my drink). * Finally, some whipped cream to go on top. Whipped cream is obviously one of the funnest tastiest treats out there. You can't go wrong with whipped cream. It adds a little sweetness, and makes a hell of a mess if you try to make/drink this while already drunk. It adds the lighter touch to my drink. What else would a cute little whipped cream mustache remind you of.....be creative now....ZebraHEAD! Don't hurt yourself thinking about it. * Before you gulp down this damn good drink that you had to think really hard about to make......notice it's color............BLACK AND WHITE....alright boys and girls, what else do we know that is black and white? Does anyone know? That's right! A ZEBRA! Now don't get picky on me when you see the drink, I know it's not midnight black, but it's pretty damn close (if it makes you feel better "dark brown and white!") It just depends on how much extra coffee you decided to add. I wouldn't put too much though, you're yummy vodka and Kahlua will be drowned out, so use sparingly. * That would be a "Zebrahead". It may not be THE "Zebrahead", but it sure as hell is MINE!
