hummin the song and just said it....we all laughed.....so....hence the

I went to the show @ the reseda country club and i noticed that Ed has his drums set up backwards, if you will. my question is, was Ed always a lefty drummer or did he switch somewhere along the way? and also, did Ed participate in marching band in high school?
OK OK OK Im a right handed person who plays the drums a lefty. When I was about 10 years old my next door neighbor had a drum set which he would play all the time. I used to hear him beating away all day long so I decided to go check it out. I thought that drums were the coolest thing I had ever seen. Well he was a lefty. And of course his kit was set up as a lefty. So every time I played on his kit I was playing as a lefty. As time went on he became less interested in drums and he would let me play them whenever I wanted. Well after acouple of years I went to a buddies house who just bought a drum set. I walked in the room and said why the hell is it backwards. He looked at me like I was crazy, but I had no concept of right or left. I had only seen one drumset to date.
Soon after the righty incident I decided to take lessons. Needless to say. My teacher scolded me for my backwards style saying it would hold me back from learning. He didn't understand how you could play a left hander and start all your fills with a right hand.For a long time I would have to end all of my fills with a double hit with my left hand. And that sucked when you wanted to play fast.
So after all the years I have kind of been able to pick up a lefty style complete with left handed rolls and all. But I still favor my right hand. I guess it all works out for the better because I am really comfortable with my style now. And it is fun to be a little backwards.

as a matter of fact, i (greg) am a huge sports
fan. i would also like to say that if it's not covered in sportscenter,
it's not a sport. it's a little early to give some basketball picks with
all the free agents yet to be signed... so ... i'll refrain for now. early
final four picks though .... duke, uconn, stanford, north carolina. yeah,
yeah, yeah, i know i really went out on a limb there, but hey ... i haven't
seen any brackets yet. look out for ucla (who will fall a little further
in the top 25 before the madness) and louisville (who will break into the
top 25 before the madness) to make good runs in the big dance. furthermore,
indiana and cincinnati will take early exits despite high seeds. ... out.

Have any of you ever experienced any rumours or actual occurences of haunted venues? The Rave in Milwaukee is supposedly haunted... Buddy Holly and Richie Valens and that winter dance party tour played in the ballroom on that final stretch... just to warn you...
laura,actually...in justin's old apartment....we think there was the ghost of a cat living there....it would creep around late at night...knocking things over....look forward to checkin out the rave...sounds like it has a huge role in rock n roll history
Hi Laura!!! This is Kooter, I play the drums in Zebrahead, And yes one time I really did experience a strange occurence in an old venue in Boston late one Dec. night.
OK here is the story as best I remember it. It was a cold December night and we had just arrived in Boston for a WBCN radio show at Mama kin(aerosmith's club) It was a cool show.... Placebo, Rancid, Less than Jake and so on. The venue was cool because it was one of those old buildings in an old part of Boston. It was like 4 stories with basements and closets and little stairways all over the place. Those venues are always kind of fun to explore when you want to kill time until the show starts.
Well, I did do just that. I checked out the whole place, it was pretty big inside. You could honestly have 3 good size shows all at once. The managment saved the upstairs area as a huge dressing room for the bands. We were all just hanging out waiting to play,having a few beers and I decided I had to use the restroom. Since I had not used it yet I didn't know where it was. I asked around, Ben told me where to find it.
I went inside the mens room and, well ,ya know, sat in the last stall and closed the door. I must of been inside the stall for no more than 5 seconds when the stall door slammed open with full force. I mean WHAM, against the wall. It scared the shit out of me because of the loud bang. I was really pissed I thought it was one of the guys messing with me. I jumped up immediately to beat up Ben or Greg, and no one was there.
Needless to say this freaked me out, so I bailed back to the dressing room. I told a few of the guys and they just looked at me like I ,was a dork.Well, I decided to just sit around and drink more beer. But I only had one problem. I STILL HAD TO GO (YA KNOW) Dont ever try to play the drums when ya have to (ya know). Anyways, by now I really had to go, and we only had about 20 minutes before we were to take the stage. I was begining to feel like a total sissy ,being afraid of a bathroom and all. So that was it! I wasn't going to be a sissy ,I was gonna kick that bathrooms ass.
So I got up and headed for the evil, door
slamming, hair raising bathroom from hell(Kurlee's house). I made the long
walk down the dark hall to the door that read
Just when I was completeley relaxed, it happened. The door slammed shut. I mean really slammed shut. And oh god did I freak out. I finished as fast as I could and ran straight the hell out of that bathroom. I told the guys again and they just laughed. The stage manager at the club hear my story and said that I wasn't crazy. He said it had been a while, but that the building had quite a history of hauntings.
Well, that is my ghost story. I feel like
now I have a link to the supernatural through bathrooms. ha ha ha. Thanks

Waste of Mind has Cd art fashioned after a record, i am a record collecter and im wondering if Waste of Mind is availavble on vinyl?
unfortunately it is not available on vinyl now.........hopefully soon!
Will you guys release it as a single on CD/vinyl with some live or unrealesed tracks or will you even release them to buy at all?
i really don't know what to say to that...i'm not sure how it is going to work out quite yet

1 more thing, i was watching KoRn TV and a caller asked korn if they would tour with zebrahead. Their reply was along the lines of 'i dont know, we have the same manager', and david Silveria from korn listed Waste of Mind as his 2nd favorite album of 98, will you tour with korn?

yes we get tons of offers for free coca cola.....and potato chips.......we usually take them up on the chips but not the coke.....caffeine was created by the government to make you work harder and we are very sensitive about that....and kinda lazy..

For me and all the other guitarists out their, what kind of pedals do you guys use to get your effects?
justin uses a BOSS phaser and digital delay pedal... all of his distortion comes from his Marshall JCM900 4100 amp head. greg uses a Roland GP-100 effects processor with a MIDI foot controller, as well as a Morley wah. this is all played through a fender prosonic and a fender tonemaster.
